The Unexpected Ways Ongoing Education


Are you educating yourself as you grow your online business?

Being your own boss it is important to continue to educate yourself. Just because you are doing your business doesn’t mean you stop learning! Most coaches I know have stopped educating themselves and not growing beyond.

For me, being my own boss I make sure I’m educating myself daily I love the fact I am learning so much and growing. I love what I do its important to me I learn everyday. That is the beauty of being your own boss.

And, mind you it is more than just being your own boss, it is more than selling your products. It is educating yourself to UNDERSTAND the ups and downs to the online business world. And looking after your MINDSET!

So if you’re not educating yourself daily or weekly the time is now to do that. The more you educate yourself the more confident you’ll feel in your business.

When you think about ongoing education your mind may go straight to technical aspects of your work. Learning new skills that translate specifically to your trade. While those are very important aspects of ongoing education and will most definitely boost your bottom line, there are some unexpected ways ongoing education that can boost your business and I like to share them to you.

Below is what I apply to my business it has made a huge difference.

Anything, You Learn Can Positively Impact Your Business

Yes, its true anything you can learn about growing your business or starting an online business can positively impacted your business. Did you know a class on nutrition could boost your business? Seriously, It can! That’s because learning about health-related topics can directly benefit you as a person which boosts your health and welfare. When you are physically healthier, you have the stamina and physical strength to get more done and not burn out.

Let me break it down into some categories – there is

Technology
Self-help – wellness
Healthy mindset
Leadership and interpersonal skills
Marketing and sales 

The above are examples of areas where you could engage in ongoing education and benefit your business as a whole.

Learning about tech when you’re not technically minded

If your focus on your business that doesn’t directly involve tech, it may be intimidating or overwhelming. This can hold you back in tech-centered sales situations or when you need a bigger social media presence. Taking the time to learn about an aspect of tech can boost your abilities, it can boost your confidence with your business which can create more income. Self-care can make you more money

Do you value working hard? Do you put in long hours into your work and sacrifice your mental health? Working hard is okay but taking BETTER care of yourself is more important. A lot of business owners don’t take the time to learn about mental health and self-care. They may have a thriving businesses but challenges in their home life or feel depressed despite their success. Learning to care for yourself can help you be more productive and work smarter rather than harder. What you don’t know about your health could have a dire impact on your business. Meditation can help you learn to control your breathing and your temper as well as stress which can make dealing with difficult people easier than it’s ever been. If you own a business, you are a leader
