Following your heart?
Do you feel at times you wish your life would be different? And do you feel you wish people could see you in a different light? I used to always say to myself ‘I wish my life was different’, ‘I wish I was more myself’ it used to dampen my days when I was wishing my life to be different.
I didn’t want to be like anyone else I wanted to have the old me back,
I wanted people to see the difference in me and to be treated normally. I wanted to have things in my life, I wanted something meaningful like love, I wanted something to look forward to.I just wanted my life to be different to what it was, and to be free from being bullied all the time.
Do you ever feel like you stop yourself thinking what is it that I want different for my life?I didn’t know how to go about turning my life around and say ‘I love how different my life is now’.
My heart was aching with so much hurt and pain from being bullied, wishing things would be different and better. Bullies take away your freedom and that locks you inside and you feel you’re trapped and unable to get out.
I had to learn to take time out for myself and be somewhere with no distractions. I found it peaceful being down at the park surrounded with a little bit of nature; this helped me to calm my mind. I would sit there and quietly listen to my heart and identifying what I was feeling.
Giving yourself that bit of space to listen to your heart is important.
After giving myself this time, I realised I had to accept what I had in my life. I learned I didn’t need to have things differently. I only needed to change a few things to make life happier for myself. It only takes that moment of space to make you realise you don’t need to have a different life. Many people tend to think they need to have a different life because the perceive someone else has this wonderful life and they want that too.

It is easy to live our lives in response to pressure from other people. If you follow your heart, and make sure you are living according to your own desires rather than what other people want you to have, or wanting to lead a different life.
Find a peaceful spot where you can sit and really listen to your heart and quietly ask yourself what is it I truly want and what is it that I can change about my life? Things will come to your mind when you least expect it to and that will be the right answer for you.
Share how you feel about your life; do you want it to be different or ???
Your time is limited, never waste it on living someone else’s life. We all get stuck in our life when our heart tells us one thing, then our mind is telling us another thing.
These are two totally different directions.
One feels right and the other may make you feel uneasy…
You must live your own life.
Listening to your heart is not always easy, especially in a busy and demanding culture we live in today. Life can pull you in many directions, and there are ways you can carve out a sacred space for yourself.
When you are bullied your heart is somewhere else isn’t it?Its aching because it hurts. You have many thoughts going through your mind you don’t know which way to go or who to turn to. So, you continue to allow your heart to suffer.
And, it is easy to live our lives in responses to pressure from other people, for example bullies, they make you stop living your life the way you want to. If you want to follow your heart, you need to make sure you are living according to your own desires and not what other people want you to.
And, you have to STOP allowing the bullies from making you do things you’re uncomfortable doing. This is YOUR life. It is OK to follow your heart, however it is not safe if you are feeling sad, depressed and lonely, because these emotions can cloud your judgement and your decisions.

Making a list of things like a bucket list can help you figure out which direction your heart wants to go in.
This list can be a great source of inspiration and motivation when you are searching for something meaningful for your life. When you go through life guided by your values, not only do you gain a sense of strength and joyfulness, you will also experience that life can be rich and full and meaningful even when bad things happen.
Creating an open space is getting in touch with your heart in a deeper way and it’s giving your heart time and space to speak up. Make it an important part of your life to sit for a moment without distractions. This is something I love to do daily I always set a time each day for myself even if I have a busy schedule to give myself that space to listen to my heart.

Nice post titled following your heart but the most phrases i love it that say “follow your heart, however it is not safe if you are feeling sad, depressed and lonely, because these emotions can cloud your judgement and your decisions.”
