Have you done a weekend reset ?

Is your other work falling behind such as your house work, maybe its your business what about family time?

What about yourself are you looking after number one?

We all get caught up in and forgetting about the things we all love doing including being kind to ourself.

Finding the time to fit everything in can be near possible. Now is the time for you to create a new habit to be a little more organised.

Create a new habit of doing a reset each weekend if you can. Why you need to do this?

A weekly reset is simply a routine you do once a week that helps you get ready for the week. It is most often done on a weekend where you have a few days to relax unwind, do your house chores and plan your healthy meals and feeling fresh for the week.

I love taking this time out for myself it is where I get most of my chores done. One thing I don’t do is work on the weekend this is my time out to chill out. It was a new habit I created for myself is a must do.

Sometimes I fall behind on things and avoiding doing the washing, the house when I look around I think to myself have I become a little lazy. Truth is I was so I changed all of that it was the best thing I did. My mind was fresh and ready to enjoy my week. I even felt less stressed. I love having everything organised not too organised just enough to be ahead of things

On Sunday evenings I take time out to go over my diary and see what I have planned for the week or if I need to add anything to my list. Most of the time there is always something to add to the list.

Here are a few tips to guide you to do a short reset over the weekend.

Catch Up on Tasks You Fell Behind on

Before you do anything else, take some time and finishing anything you didn’t get done, that you are able to do right now. Always make time for the things you didn’t get to finish when it is finish your mind is rested because you finally got that task done you have been meaning to do.

Doing this is you won’t feel like you are getting more behind when the new week begins. Try to do this on Saturday if you can, so that Sunday is freed up for the rest of your reset routine.

Get Your Home and Workspace Clean and Organised

The weekly reset is also a good time to do some cleaning and organising, particularly with things that will help you when your work week starts.

Waking up to a decluttered home, laundry not put away, and a messy kitchen is going to take away from your productivity as your week begins. This was one of my biggest down falls I was so far behind. I really had to put myself into gear and do something about it.

Also, I make time to tidy up my officer area so it is all ready for the week.. I love a tidy office where I can walk in the room everything is in place for me for the week.

Go through your house to tidy up, do any cleaning and laundry that needs to be done, and take a little time getting areas organised that you feel would increase your wellness.

Meal Prep and Planning

Don’t stress about meals this week! Instead, plan ahead and get as many things prepped as you can. Plan your meals by figuring out what you want to cook and eat for each meal of the day throughout the week. It helps to start by looking at ingredients you already have, then going from there.

Get your groceries, then see what can be prepped ahead of time. This might mean rinsing and cutting fruits and vegetables, making hardboiled eggs, marinating chicken or meat, or putting rice in the rice cooker.

Some foods can be made ahead of time, while others just need to have their ingredients prepped.

Laundry and Preparing for the Week

Sunday morning is also the perfect day for laundry and other tasks that help you get prepared. Work on your laundry while you are getting your meals prepped and house cleaned and organised.

Just make sure you finish your laundry and put everything away. This way you don’t have to avoid it and have it sitting there for another week. Trust me I did this myself and found it very annoying. Especially when I go to the cupboard its not in there its on the floor.

To save even more time in the mornings, get your outfits ready to go and put toward the front of your closet so you can just grab them quickly.

Working in Your Planner

Finally, take a look at your schedule, write tasks and to-do lists in your planner, and make sure you are ready for any appointments coming up.

This helps you figure out if you need to get any paperwork ready, adjust your schedule, or make room for certain tasks this week.

Make your mind free of stress it is one of the best things you can do.

And, remember I believe in you

much love
