Why do people get bullied?

Are you being bullied?

This is one of the biggest topics in debate for decades! Because No one truly understands why we get bullied.

So why do we get bullied?

I did some research on this and I found information that bullies generally come from a home where their parents bullied them, so they grow up thinking this normal behaviour. On the other hand, it also says that it can be from someone who comes from a good home with a good upbringing!

Bullying often starts at school, however, it can start at anywhere at any time! At school, at home, the workplace, friendships, personal relationships, online, anywhere!

It starts at all ages, and, it can happen unexpectedly!

So, how does a bully begin bullying?

It can start out as simple teasing, it can start out as a gossip but that can rapidly get out of hand. This is when it becomes a habit for the bully.

Why is this? Well it is because they feel that power of having control; and it makes them feel good. When it makes them feel good, they continue to bully people all of their life just like an addict.

When a toxic person can no longer control

you, they will try to control how others see you.

It is unfair, learn to stay above it…

At times it is hard to understand why a bully, bullies another but there are many reasons why.

Here are a few of the why’s:

  • jealousy
  • gossip
  • the way a person looks
  • someone who has weight issues
  • a person who wears glasses
  • a person who has a form of disability
  • it can even be because of the way a person talks
  • it could be a comment about someone who is a slow learner
  • it can start because someone is having difficulty doing a task

Sometimes it’s difficult to pin point what the underlying cause is…

And, No one knows why we get bullied at work, in friendships, in relationships, online or wherever we go in our life.

Bullying is

  • an unacceptable behaviour!
  • no one has the right to bully another person.
  • no one has the right to control another person

The bullies themselves do not realise the impact it can have on the person being bullied.

Or maybe they don’t really care…and that is the saddest part.

Life is supposed to be a happy time.

So why is bullying so unfair?

The truth is there is no single answer to this question.

The only answer is that you have the power of choice and YOU CAN do something about it!

  • Can you change your life to something you deserve to have?… Absolutely!
  • Can you stand up to the bully?… Absolutely!
  • Can you walk away from difficult situations?… Absolutely!
  • Can you prevent the bullying?… Absolutely!

Strength, doesn’t come from what you can do,

it comes from overcoming the things you once

thought you couldn’t do…

by Rikki Rogers.

Bullying has been going on for hundreds of years. To this day bullying is getting worse. There are so many campaigns out there to prevent or STOP the bullying.

This is not going to solve anything, we can do this day in day out.

Bullying will go on forever.

The only thing that you can do is you can ‘STOP the bullying in your LIFE’, you can create new habits to change this remember only YOU can do this…

That is what I did,

I never understood why I was bullied so badly. I never understood the bullies, and why they choose to be so cruel to another human being.

What I did learn though was that they saw me as the weak one, the person with a disability that I was born with, the person who was unable to do things, unable to speak, read or write – so I became their target.

And just to reiterate:

Bullying is

  • an unacceptable behaviour!
  • no one has the right to bully another person.
  • no one has the right to control another person

When I began to heal my life, things changed for me for the better. The best thing I ever did was to focus on ME. During my healing I learned a lot about the bullies and why they are the way they are.

Remember, I believe in you much love
